EdCanvas

http://www.edcanvas.com/

This is a VERY easy to use curating tool.  I especially like the ability to add files from my computer.

Classroom idea;  Curate materials to present to a class, or have students use this tool for presentations.

Google Cultural Institute

Google Cultural Institute
 http://www.google.com/culturalinstitute/?hl=en#!home:page=1

Google says it better than I would  "We have created this site to provide a visually rich and interactive online experience for telling cultural stories in new ways."

Classroom idea.  Great resource for studying an era or event.

Found this on  Richard Byrne 's website

Research in Google Drive

Chrome Easy Bib

EasyBib Chrome Add on
https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/easybib/cbpiiblghhnlalifiaddecedaeaijdpe

My reactions to this is exactly that of  Joyce Valenza's.  I teach citing and evaluation using EasyBib, and demonstrate to students that  the need to check the automatically filled in  spaces for accuracy gives them a chance to evaluate sources credibility for themselves, as they look for who really belongs in Producer/Sponsor slot.

Meograph

Meograph
A more robust timeline generator that allows geographic placement, too.

Classroom idea: Book reports on historical fiction.
