A timeline tool that is fairly simple and intuituve.. Saw this on Free Tech for Teachers

Classroom idea.  Timelines are an oft requested student project, and I like to have several tools for creating  in my toolbox.

JSTOR Understanding Shakespeare

The Shakespeare Wars  by Ron Rosenbaum   was a turning point for me.  I loved the passion  with he described Shakespeare, and the passionate people who delve into the details of Shakespeare .  This   tool  gives student a glimpse into that passion  by allowing a search of  the JSTOR database  play   line by play line.I am so glad I am catching up on to Joyce Valenza's  blog!

Classroom idea :  As an introduction to the  art of literary criticism and exploration, assign each student a research project on the intricacies of their favorite line.
