Capture Fox Movie

I love Firefox, mainly because it has neat add-ons that allow so much flexibility in producing content.
Here is the latest thing I have stumbled upon.
Capture Fox Movie http://www.advancity.net/eng/products/capturefox.html
It is a very easy screencapture tool. Here is a little screencapture I made without sound. It demonstrates nothing but the ease of this tool.

Favthumbs and MyJugaad.in

Here are two possible ways to present webpages. Thanks to Jane Hart's Pick of the Week.
Favthumbs http://favthumbs.com/This tool lets you see your tagged bookmarks as webpages, which are clickable.
MyJugaad.in http://myjugaad.in/

This tool lets you present webpages in a slide show format.

Classroom idea:
1) Gather the webpages you want your students to use under one tag and then favthumb that tag - a neat visual guide to sources!

2) Have students demonstrate their pathway to new information by organizing a slideshow of webpages used for a project. Or require such a collection of webpages as a way to cite sources.

Zoomit

Zoomit http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb897434.aspx

Classroom idea: I am very interested in screencasting and am looking for tools that let you manipulate and draw and annotate your window screen. This nifty little download lets you zoom in on any window with a click. Once in you can draw and highlight to your hearts content. A simple punch of the escape button clears it all out. This will be great for class presentations, I think!
